To support the worldwide play-to-earn guild ecosystem, Animoca Brands and Brinc have created a new $30 million Guild Accelerator Program. Each guild approved into the program will get up to $500,000 in investment from the corporations.
Highlights from the Press Release
On February 14th, 2022, Animoca Brands and Brinc announced their plan to release the funds in a press release.
The newly combined efforts in creating the Guild Accelerator Program, a fundraising project aimed at new Guilds to assist the expansion of the P2E gaming environment, were announced in it.
After investing in Yield Guild Games and Avocado Guild, the brands are certain that P2E will continue to develop in 2021. With 3.2 billion gamers worldwide, gaming is the most popular sector on the planet, with Asia accounting for 45 percent of the P2E market.
Guilds that are committed to sustainability are given priority in admission to the program. Projects that promote and give back to player/scholar communities, emphasize energy-efficient proof-of-stake procedures and side chains, and have smaller environmental footprints will be preferred.
Online applications will be accepted until February 27, 2022 with the first cohort starting in May. You can find more information about the program and how to apply on brinc.io/guild.
Animoca Brands and Brinc have committed to assisting dozens of guilds. To optimize each guild’s performance and help scale growth, the program will foster innovation, set up management and operational systems, share best-in-class learnings from world-class mentors, expand each platform’s user base and assets, and help raise funds beyond the startup phase.
