Quick take:
- Worldcoin’s community of more than 6.8 million unique humans will gain access to on-chain data and insights as soon as World Chain mainnet goes live.
- The partnership also sets the stage for Dune to work with the Worldcoin Foundation and project contributors such as Tools for Humanity.
- Developers will be able to explore key metrics including the number of real humans interacting with the chain, and the performance of DeFi protocols or DEXs built on World Chain.
Worldcoin and Dune have partnered to bring on-chain data and insights access to World Chain. World Chain is an open-source, permissionless L2 blockchain built on OP Stack and part of the Superchain.
Dubbed the blockchain for humans, the network serves as the primary home for World App and World ID. This permissionless identity protocol enables individuals to prove their humanness in the digital world while preserving their privacy.
Recently ranked as the top blockchain data platform by NFTgators, Dune has been advancing its analytics insights and access through partnerships.
Most recently, the company expanded its support for the entire Polkadon network, enabling on-chain data access for all 50+ parachains. Earlier last month, Dune introduced Blockchain Pages, simplifying on-chain data access with pages dedicated to specific blockchains.
Dune’s partnership with Worldcoin expands its reach to Worldcoin’s community of more than 6.8 million unique humans. According to a press release shared with NFTgators, the Worldcoin community will gain access to on-chain data and insights as soon as the World Chain mainnet goes live.
The partnership also sets the stage for Dune to work with the Worldcoin Foundation and project contributors such as Tools for Humanity. Developers and other team members will be able to explore key metrics including the number of real humans interacting with the chain, and the performance of DeFi protocols or decentralised exchanges built on World Chain.
Commenting on the announcement, Remco Bloemen, Head of Blockchain at the Worldcoin Foundation highlighted Worldcoin’s goal of ensuring blockchain benefits humans first as part of the reason for partnering with Dune.
“With Dune’s powerful analytics tools, we can provide users and developers with accessible on-chain data, empowering them to make informed decisions and drive innovation on World Chain,” he said.
The two companies also plan to explore more initiatives for innovation on the first blockchain centred around humans.
Fredrik Haga, Co-Founder and CEO of Dune commented: “World Chain’s design focuses on accessibility, enabling millions of people across 160 countries to engage with onchain applications from day one.”
“By integrating World Chain data into Dune, we’re providing developers and analysts with the critical tools to track its performance, explore cross-chain interactions, and analyse real-world use cases as the network grows,” Haga added.
